Open Media Labs
Open Media Labs is the research platform of Open Media, founded in 2023. It was established in response to the growing recognition among communications practitioners that there is no centralized conversation or best practice sharing on public communications. Open Media Labs is a 501(c)(3) organization that operates both as a think tank within but independently of the firm. The mission of the Labs is to advance research and promote evidence-based communication strategies that address some of the most pressing challenges faced by governments and community-serving organizations worldwide, including disinformation, growing distrust, program access, audience understanding, the digital divide, and more. Additionally, the Labs aim to enrich communications with insights from various disciplines, including art, design, and technology.
